Paragon 28 launched the PRESERVE Bone Graft System to meet an unmet need of foot and ankle surgeons: to provide pre-shaped, anatomically specific, aseptically processed bone grafts. All wedges are prepared using a customized aseptic process eliminating the need for gamma irradiation which can reduce structural integrity and bleach which can reduce the osteoinductive potential of the graft. All wedges have a patented procedure specific shape and are harvested from dense cancellous bone to match the strength and incorpation requirements of the anatomy. The wedges do not have a cortical rim allowing for more rapid incorporation and a higher union rate.
