The Spider Monkey TTT™ Bone Transport System provides surgeons with a dedicated transverse tibial transport solution focused on reproducible workflow execution, modular fixation flexibility, and controlled distraction management.
Designed around surgeon-driven workflow principles, the system incorporates dedicated corticotomy planning instrumentation, modular fixation architecture, controlled distraction and compression capability, standalone or circular fixation construct flexibility, and patient-managed transport functionality.
The transporter mechanism allows distraction and compression in 0.25 mm increments with tactile and audible feedback while supporting up to 14 mm of total transport capability.
The Bone Transporter clamps onto pins in the transport segment and is compatible with parallel and converging pin orientations. The innermost transporter clamp holes facilitate parallel half pin placement for an in-line construct configuration, while the outer clamp holes support converging half pin placement for multiplanar fixation and alternative pin trajectories.
The transporter may be used in standalone transport constructs utilizing Monkey Bars™ combination clamps or connected directly to Monkey Rings™ constructs via M6 Connection Bolts. Designed with the same overall length as a 100 mm threaded pillar, the transporter can be incorporated directly into a 100 mm tibial ring block construct. When used with 25 mm Extenders, the transporter becomes compatible with tibial ring block constructs built using 150 mm threaded pillars while providing additional clearance for corticotomy completion and soft tissue closure.
The External Fixation Bone Distractor is intended for the treatment of non-union or pseudoarthrosis of long bones and correction of bony or soft tissue defects or deformities.
The External Fixation Bone Distractor is indicated for adult and pediatric patients greater than 2 through 21 years of age.
