The APEX 3D S™ Stemmed Tibia is a complimentary implant to the APEX 3D™ Total Ankle Replacement System. Offering surgeons intra-operative flexibility, the APEX 3D S™ expands the continuum of care for patients with ankle arthritis plus other characteristics such as diabetes, high BMI, prior hindfoot fusion, etc., with features which have been proven to reduce post-surgery complications¹:
✓ Vertical Fixation
✓ Enhanced Stability
✓ Minimally Disruptive Insertion
The APEX 3D S™ Stemmed Tibia instrumentation includes the Right-Angle Drill which offers precision instrumentation for prepping the tibia prior to implantation. A Linear Guide attaches to the Tibia Trial guiding the Right-Angle Drill vertically into the tibia with fluoro markers indicating that the appropriate depth as been established. Additionally, the drill can be used on both hard and soft bone.
