PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Paragon 28 launched the PRESERVE™ Supramalleolar Osteotomy Wedge to meet an unmet need of foot and ankle surgeons: to provide a pre-shaped, anatomically contoured, aseptically processed bone graft indicated for Supramalleolar osteotomy procedures. The concentric wedge is 21° pre-shaped and can be shaped up to 25°. The wedge is prepared using a customized aseptic process eliminating the need for gamma irradiation which can reduce structural integrity and bleach which can reduce the osteoinductive potential of the graft. The wedge is harvested from dense cancellous bone to match the strength and incorporation requirements of the anatomy. The wedge does not have a cortical rim allowing for more rapid incorporation and a higher union rate.
