The Gorilla Fibular Fracture Plates offer surgeons 33 plate options to address Weber A, B, and C fracture patterns. The plates provide holes with a built in recess for placement of a syndesmotic device or to all ow a screw that is off-axis to have a reduced screw head prominence. All plate holes accept 2.7, 3.5, and 4.2 locking or non-locking polyaxial screws. All plates are low profile (1.5 mm thickness or less). All plates have tapered proximal and distal tips to aid in percutaneous insertion and have chamfered edges to minimize soft tissue irritation. The plates have a scalloped undersurface designed to preserve blood supply to the periosteum.
Anatomic fibular plates, Posterolateral fibular plates, and hook plates are available in Ti64Al-ELi for improved fatigue strength. Straight fibular plates are available in CP4 titanium to allow surgeons to more easily contour the plates to the length of the fibula.
